  • sugar - 1 c
  • milk - 1 c
  • evaporated milk - 1 c
  • coconut - 14 oz
  • chocolate chips - 1 pkg
  • nuts
  • large marshmallows - 24 item
  • stick oleo - 1 item
  • chocolate cake mix - 1 pkg
  • instant chocolate pie filling - 1 pkg

How to make almond joy cake:

Mix cake mix as directed on package, adding pie filling. Bake in one or two large greased oblong pans (thin layers). Bake at 350°.

First layer: Bring 1 cup milk and 1 cup sugar to quick boil. Melt marshmallows. Pour in coconut. Pour over cake.

Second layer: Bring 1 1/2 cups sugar and evaporated milk to quick boil. Add chips. Stir until melted. Stir in nuts. Put over cake and other filling.
