- almond extract - 1 tsp

- soft butter - 2 Tbsp
How to make almond danish puff:
Almond Danish Puff Glaze:1 1/2 c. powdered sugar1 1/2 tsp. almond extract2 Tbsp. soft butter1 to 2 Tbsp. water Measure flour and cut in 1/2 cup butter. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons water over mixture. Mix with fork, round into ball and divide in half. On greased baking sheet, pat each half into a 12 x 3-inch strip, 3 inches apart. If sticky, dip finger in flour as you pat the dough.In saucepan, combine 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup water; heat to boiling. Remove from heat, stir in extract. Beat in 1 cup flour, stir quickly to keep from lumping. When smooth, add eggs (one at a time), beating after each until smooth. Divide batter in half, spread over dough strips. Bake 60 minutes at 350° until topping is crisp and browned. Frost with glazed and sprinkle with finely chopped pecans on top. Slice diagonally. Serves 10 to 12.
