Almond custard
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- egg yolks - 5 item
- heavy cream - 2 c
- egg - 1 item
- brandy - 2 Tbsp
- cinnamon stick - 1 item
- rose water - 1 tsp
- blanched almonds, ground - 3 oz
How to make almond custard:
Combine cream and cinnamon in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove cinnamon. Add almond, rose water and sugar. Beat egg and yolks together in separate pan. Place over low heat and add hot cream mixture, stirring constantly. Continue cooking and stirring constantly until the custard coats a spoon.
