Almond chicken
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 4 Tbsp
- water
- vegetable oil - 1 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- carrots - 1 c
- celery - 1 c
- Accent - 1 Tbsp
- can water chestnuts - 1 item
- broccoli - 1 c
- raw chicken - 3 c
- can bamboo shoots - 1 item
- salt and garlic - 1/2 Tbsp
How to make almond chicken:
Chop chicken into bite-size pieces. Mix 2 tablespoons cornstarch and egg by hand into chicken. Add vegetable oil to give chicken a glazed look. Put enough oil in skillet to cover chicken. Make oil hot. Add chicken and stir-fry until done. Add vegetables and stir for 2 minutes. Drain excess oil. Combine water, garlic salt, sugar, Accent and soy sauce. Add to chicken mixture. Bring to a boil. Mix 2 tablespoons cornstarch with a little water. Add to sauce and thicken. Put in a dish and top with almonds.Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Chicken breast.
