  • almond extract
  • egg white - 1 item
  • 10x powdered sugar
  • almonds, toasted
  • salt heaping 1/8 or scant 1/4 tsp - 1/8 1/4

How to make almond balls:

Grind almonds that have been toasted at 200° (about 10 minutes). Add remaining ingredients, mixing to a stiff paste. Form into 1/2-inch diameter balls. Put on cookie sheet on foil or in cookie tin. Cover. Refrigerate overnight.

Great finale to a Chinese dinner. Serve with fresh pineapple, hot tea and almond balls.
