Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
- sifted powdered sugar
- plain flour - 3 c
- Crisco - 1 c
- lemon flavoring - 1 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- 7-Up - 7 oz
- stick whipped margarine - 1 item
How to make 7-up pound cake:
Lemon Glaze:1 c. sifted powdered sugar1 Tbsp. lemon juice2 Tbsp. milk Cream eggs, Crisco, margarine and sugar at least 10 minutes. Add flour and 7-Up alternately, beginning and ending with flour. Add lemon flavoring. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes at 325°.Glaze: Combine all glaze ingredients, blending until smooth. Add more milk, if necessary. Pour over hot cake.
