Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- eggs, separated - 4 item
- coconut
- oil - 3/4 c
- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
- small can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- 7-Up - 8 oz
- box vanilla pudding mix - 1 item
How to make 7-up cake:
Icing:1 c. coconut2 c. sugar2 eggs1 small can crushed pineapple1 stick margarine1 tsp. vanilla Cake: Mix the cake mix, pudding, egg yolks and 7-Up in a large mixing bowl. Fold in beaten egg whites. Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes. Cake is done when toothpick comes out clean. Ice while warm.Icing: Melt margarine in a heavy saucepan; add juice from pineapple, sugar and eggs, cooking until thick. Take off heat. Add coconut, pineapple and vanilla; pour over cake.
