  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • pkg - 10 oz
  • chopped celery - 2 c
  • sliced green onions - 1/4 c
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 4 oz
  • mayonnaise - 2 c
  • chopped green peppers - 1/2 c
  • head lettuce - 1 item
  • slices crumbled crisp, cooked bacon - 8 item

How to make 7 layer salad:

Before preparation, ingredients must be dry. Break lettuce into small pieces and put in large bowl or 13 x 9-inch pan. Layer with green peppers, onions, celery and peas (cooked to package directions). Cover peas with mayonnaise and sprinkle with sugar. Top with shredded cheese and bacon. Chill 8 to 12 hours.
