  • pkg - 1 oz
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 4 oz
  • mayonnaise - 2 c
  • green pepper, diced - 1/2 c
  • celery - 1 c
  • head lettuce, chopped - 1 item
  • bacon, fried and crumbled - 1 pkg
  • sweet onion, diced - 1 item
  • cooked eggs - 4 item

How to make 7 layer lettuce salad:

Place ingredients in pan in order given, except mayonnaise, sugar and cheese. Mix the mayonnaise and sugar; spread over salad. Sprinkle cheese over dressing. Cover; refrigerate. Can be made several hours ahead of time.
