4 layer dessert
Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- milk - 3 c
- flour - 1 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- powdered sugar - 1 c
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- Cool Whip - 8 oz
- chocolate or lemon instant pudding
How to make 4 layer dessert:
Layer 1: Cream the margarine and flour. Add the chopped walnuts. Pat into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350° and cool.Layer 2: Cream the cheese and powdered sugar. Add 1 cup of the Cool Whip and mix. Spread over the bottom crust.
Layer 3: Beat pudding with milk and pour over second layer.
Layer 4: Toast the pecans and mix with the rest of the Cool Whip. Spread on top. Refrigerate. Can sprinkle toasted coconut on top, if desired.
