  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • salt - 1 Tbsp
  • vinegar - 1/2 c
  • salad oil - 3/4 c
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • shredded cabbage - 2 lb
  • celery salt - 1 tsp
  • large onion - 1 item

How to make 24 hour slaw:

In large bowl mix shredded cabbage, onion and 3/4 cup sugar; let stand. In saucepan, combine dry mustard, salts, sugar, vinegar and salad oil. Boil 1 minute. Pour over cabbage. Refrigerate 24 hours before serving.
