- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- salad oil - 3/4 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- shredded cabbage - 2 lb
- celery salt - 1 tsp
- large onion - 1 item
How to make 24 hour slaw:
In large bowl mix shredded cabbage, onion and 3/4 cup sugar; let stand. In saucepan, combine dry mustard, salts, sugar, vinegar and salad oil. Boil 1 minute. Pour over cabbage. Refrigerate 24 hours before serving.Recipe categories: American, Salads, Southern u.s..
