24 hour omelet
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- grated cheese - 3/4 lb
- sausage - 3/4 lb
- eggs slightly beaten - 8 item
- slices of bread, buttered, trimmed and cubed - 5 item
- 1/3 cup milk - 2 item
- green chile optional - 1 item
How to make 24 hour omelet:
Brown sausage and drain. Add dash of cayenne. Place bread cubes in 9 X 13 dish pan and spread with sausage. Add green chile. Beat eggs, milk, salt and dry mustard together. Pour over bread and meat. Top with cheese. Cover with foil and let sit in refrigerator overnight. Bake covered for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Let sit for 15 - 25 minutes before cutting and serving.Enjoy!
