  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • coconut - 2 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • Cream butter, sugar and vanilla
  • milk from large coconut - 1 item

How to make 1-2-3-4 coconut cake:

Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour mixture alternately with milk. Pour into three 9-inch cake pans. Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes.Filling:1 1/2 c. sugar milk from large coconut2 c. coconut Put milk and sugar in a pan. Put coconut in with milk and sugar. Bring to a hard boil. Spoon between layers. Ice cake with Seven Minute Frosting. Put coconut over frosting.
